The God of War franchise has given fans some of the most memorable characters in gaming, including bosses that are incredibly difficult to defeat. Iconic video game bosses like Cronos and Ares are born out of the rich lore behind the games, making each battle even more exciting for players who are heavily invested in the story. The hardest bosses in the series are often the gods themselves, using their powers to make sure that Kratos suffers throughout the battle.
